NOW HIRING: IT Technician

Starting pay: $16.50 – 18 per hour

Swing Shift 4pm-2am available

Valid Colorado Division of Gaming Support License required for the role

Primary Function:  Troubleshoot, repair, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and network systems as directed to meet company needs and comply with Company policies and objectives.


  1. Maintain computerized systems to assist users and management in achieving goals and objectives.
  2. Maintain programs to assist management and users in complying with Company policies and Colorado Gaming Regulations.
  3. Maintain computer hardware and software.
  4. Submits requisitions and purchase orders as needed
  5. Responsible for knowing and understanding the Colorado Gaming ICMP’s applicable to the department.
  6. Share technical knowledge with co-workers and assist in documenting solutions for issues solved.
  7. Assist any new hire staff with job orientation and training to bring them to a functional level as quickly as possible.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:  Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in technology.

Language Skills:  Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals and schematics. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies.  Ability to effectively present information to the director or General Manager as needed.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical variables.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. 

Certificates, Licensure or Registration:  Colorado Gaming Support License is required.

Other Skills/Abilities:  Must be capable of maintaining Microsoft Windows thru the current release, MS Office thru the current release and other desktop publishing software.  Must be able to quickly learn other applications such as VMware, tape backup software, and Bally gaming system client programs and their associated software.

The noise level in the work environment is frequently moderate to loud.  Some inside lighting levels may be lower than considered normal in a public area.

Materials & Equipment Directly UsedSparks:   Various general office equipment is used including computers, photocopiers, fax machines, stapler, keys, radio and tape.

Hand tools are often used to work on equipment. Skills with basic electronic test equipment such as a volt/ohm meter or cable tester is desirable.

Benefit Statement: Full time employees are eligible for benefits the 1st of the month after 60 calendar days of employment. Paid Sick Leave accrues at 1 hour per every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave earned and used per year. Full time and part time employees earn vacation time after one year of work and annually on the hire or rehire date based on hours worked per year with a minimum of 1095 hours worked in a 12 month period to receive part time vacation.
